Noah was one of my 7th-grade math students last year. Inspired by the class discussion, he wrote a little poem. This will perhaps be my shortest Substack, but perhaps the highest in quality per word. I gave the class the poem in three different fonts with slightly different wordings last year, and had them discuss which was best (and why). On the handout, I wrote,”Which is most suitable: Calisto, Verdana, or Ink Free? How about the small word differences?” I would hold a Substack vote here, gentle readers, except I don’t know how to do it (anybody know how?). You can critique and vote in the Comments section, but I know most of you are too shy to do that.
Noah B.'s Triangle Poem
Certainly Ink Free! It avoids straight lines and that is just delightfully ironic!
Thanks Eric!
